Privacy Policy
1. Overview
Tap Pointer is an iOS and Android app for adding tap effects, touch indicators, area highlights, and optional voiceover to videos selected by the user. Tap Pointer does not use advertising, behavioral analytics, or user tracking.
2. Data Handled by the App
Tap Pointer handles video files selected by the user, annotation data created by the user, optional voice recordings created by the user, and exported video files. This data is processed on the user's device to provide editing, preview, and export features.
3. Photos, Files, and Microphone Access
Tap Pointer uses Photos or Files access when the user chooses a video to import. Microphone access is used only when the user records a voiceover. Photos add-only access may be used when the user chooses to save an exported video to the photo library.
4. Data Transmission
Tap Pointer does not send the user's videos, voice recordings, annotation data, or exported videos to our own servers. If the user shares or saves an exported video, the video is provided to the destination selected by the user through the operating system.
5. Purchase Information
Tap Pointer's export unlock is processed through Apple App Store or Google Play billing. Tap Pointer may use RevenueCat to manage purchase entitlement status. We do not receive credit card numbers or other payment card details.
6. Third-Party SDKs, Advertising, and Tracking
Tap Pointer does not use advertising SDKs or SDKs intended for cross-app tracking. Purchase-related services may process transaction and entitlement information only as needed to provide and restore paid export access.
7. Data Deletion
Temporary files and exported files created by the app may be stored in the app's local container on the device. Deleting the app generally removes app-local data from the device. Videos saved to Photos, Files, or other destinations can be deleted by the user in those destinations.
8. Children's Privacy
Tap Pointer is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. If important changes are made, the updated policy will be posted on this page.
