Privacy Policy
1. Overview
Tap Pointer is an iPhone app for adding tap effects, area highlights, and optional voiceover to videos selected by the user. Tap Pointer does not collect personal information for advertising, user tracking, or behavioral analytics.
2. Data Handled by the App
Tap Pointer handles video files selected by the user, annotation data created by the user, optional voice recordings created by the user, and exported video files. This data is processed on the user's device to provide the app's editing and export features.
3. Photos, Files, and Microphone Access
Tap Pointer uses Photos or Files access when the user chooses a video to import. Microphone access is used only when the user records a voiceover. Photos add-only access is used when the user chooses to save an exported video to the photo library.
4. Data Transmission
Tap Pointer does not send the user's videos, voice recordings, annotation data, or exported videos to our servers. If the user uses the share feature, the exported video is provided to the destination selected by the user through the system share sheet.
5. Purchase Information
Tap Pointer's in-app purchase is processed by Apple App Store through StoreKit. We do not receive credit card numbers or other payment details. Purchases, refunds, and billing history are managed under Apple's terms and privacy policy.
6. Third-Party SDKs, Advertising, and Tracking
Tap Pointer does not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or SDKs intended for user tracking.
7. Data Deletion
Temporary files and exported files created by the app may be stored in the app's local container on the device. Deleting the app generally removes this app-local data from the device. Videos saved to the photo library can be deleted by the user in the Photos app.
8. Children's Privacy
Tap Pointer is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. If important changes are made, the updated policy will be posted on this page.
